When the website is accessed, the hosting provider collects technically necessary data: the IP address, the date and time of access, the file retrieved and the user agent of the browser used.

This processing serves to provide and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data is stored for a short period.

The website is operated by a service provider that processes the data solely on our behalf and on our instructions. Details of the provider will be added upon publication.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data provided in order to handle your enquiry. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The professional duty of confidentiality applies in addition.

Through the contact form you can send us your name, email address, optionally a telephone number, an area of law and a description of your matter. We process these details solely in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. Legal professional secrecy applies in addition.

To guard against automated submissions the form contains a field that is invisible to you and checks the time between opening and sending. No image puzzle is used and no third-party service is embedded for this purpose.

If you reach the website through an advertisement, the campaign parameters from the link are kept in your browser's storage for the duration of your visit and transmitted with the submitted form so that we can attribute the enquiry to the advertisement. Unless you submit the form, these details do not leave your browser.

Your details are deleted as soon as they are no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies. You can also call us or send an email at any time instead.

We use Resend (Resend, Inc., United States) as a processor to deliver your enquiry to our mailbox and the confirmation to you. The details you provide are transmitted to the provider and processed there for the purpose of delivery.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The transfer to a third country is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Without your consent, PostHog is not loaded and no session recording is created. Google's software is already loaded when you open our pages, but it operates in a restricted state for as long as you have not given your consent.

PostHog is used to measure audience and events, for example which pages are opened and which buttons are used. The IP address is not stored.

Google Analytics is used for audience measurement. The IP address is processed in truncated form and advertising personalisation signals are switched off.

Google Ads conversion measurement records whether an enquiry was sent after a click on an advertisement, so that we can assess the effect of individual campaigns.

Google consent mode

Without your consent, Google sets no cookies and stores no identifiers by which you could be recognised. All that is transmitted is a signal without any personal reference, containing the address opened, the language and technical framework data. Google uses these signals to estimate the number of visits by calculation; no attribution to you as a person is possible, and we receive no personal analyses. With your consent, measurement is fully enabled; only then are cookies set and identifiers processed.

Your email address and telephone number from an enquiry are passed to Google for marketing measurement only with your consent, and only in encrypted form. The description of your matter is never transmitted to any measurement tool; it leaves our application solely in the email sent to us.

After your consent, the course of your visit is recorded, that is the path you take through the pages and how you operate them. The recording serves solely to identify usability problems.

The editorial content of the page and your entries in the name, email, telephone, selection and checkbox fields are visible in the recording. This allows us to see at which point enquiries are abandoned.

Exactly one field remains masked: the multi-line free text field in which you describe your matter. Whatever you type there is replaced by placeholders in your browser and never appears in a recording in plain text. Your name and contact details are in the email we receive in any event; storing the description of your case in a recording as well would be a different matter. We are bound by professional secrecy under section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB).

The legal basis for full measurement and for session recording is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. The legal basis for processing the identifier-free signals without your consent is our legitimate interest in audience measurement without any personal reference under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your decision is stored in your browser only and is not transmitted.
